P010129 Mass or Volume Air flow Sensor 1 faulty

Can anyone assist with P010129 Mass or Volume Air flow Sensor 1 malfunction/ invalid signal or code P0101 which is the same code. My intial thought is that this is the maf sensor which is faulty but the sensor 1 bit has be stumped. Anyone able to assist. My intial thought is to buy a new air flow meter. Any help appreciated. The car is a Mercedes C250 Cdi 2.1 W204 2012 model. Thanks

Hi Richard, invest around £120 on an Icarsoft MB11 and you will be able to take away the guesswork and see a live data output from your MAF, omg I sound like an advertisement :D

Haha. I have got a mb reader with live data. What should I be looking for in relation to that fault? What readings should I expect?

No idea about the actual values, although you could probably use google for that but the output from the MAF should change/rise when you rev the engine, If its bugg**red the output generally dont change.
