Hello fellow members.
Update: This morning i scanned the car and cleared the fault and took it for a drive round and it performed as normal! I scanned the car again after driving it and it showed up zero faults.
I have a 2005 CLK 2.7 Cdi automatic with 150k on the clock and yesterday the car went sluggish, it drives through gears okay but the build up of speed is very slow and there is no kick down power when you floor the pedal and i was guessing a turbo problem so i put my cheap scanner on today and it came up with this fault
P0243 Turbo/Super Charger Wastegate Solenoid “A” has anybody experienced this fault and is it a case of changing the solenoid or is it a more in depth job? Thanks in anticipation of your help.
