P026354 code

Hi everyone. I have some codes coming up P02654 P06654 etc. These are as follows and are on all 4 cylinders -

Teach-in of the operating parameters for Cylinder 1 has a malfunction. Calibration is missing

Does anyone know about what this is? I'm driving in france now and just seeing how important it is to fix this as the engine seems to be driving fine with issues.

Forgot to mention..... this is a sprinter 906 with 651 engine euro 5

You can still drive it, its a bug in the ecu, the ecu needs to have "initial startup" carried out and the injectors re-coded. It may smoke more than usual, and block a DPF if it has one, until its fixed.

Hope you are well during these times.
My story is that i replaced a 2011 sprinter engine with a 2014 engine. It's the same euro 5 and starts drives etc but I've had lots of codes coming up with flashing eml.... knock sensors - teach in parameters P026354 on all cylinders etc etc etc.

The injectors were re programmed after I fitted it

Would you recommend I go to get it remapped? Or get another ecu? Or what shall I do? It's a real pain as the dealer was going to charge me so much money and the garages around here didn't know what it was and then I got someone who didn't know what they were doing charging me a load for not fixing it.



Any advice would be really helpful to me

Talk to Alexanderfoti about that longgun888, could be an ECU issue with software not matching with your current engine, I had similar codes but a set of injectors cured it. what sort of miles were on the 2014 engine? I got mine remapped to 200BHP which really made a great job of the van torque wise.

How's it going with you? Thanks for the message .... and the heads up. I've been in touch with Alex already which is great.
The engine is 55k .... I don't know about yourself but I spent a lot of time finding a good engine. Just wasn't worth doing a rebuild. I think I will get it remapped like you have done. Have a good weekend! Jake

Hi Jake, how,s things sorry to hear your in trouble still. Shouldn't be any faults with injectors at that mileage. I would think Alexanders is spot on the money what he told you in post 3. Road trip to Alexanders if you are anywhere near him I got an EGR delete on my remap but then my EGR was throwing an odd fault code
