- Mercedes E250 W212 2014
Hello members,
I am new to this forum so please be patient with me, I have been a long time loyal BMW owner since I last sold my 190e 2.5 cosworth in 2004.. I have chosen to go back to mercedes and got an e250 cdi w212 in October last year and had no end of issues mostly down to the rogue cowboy garage..
However it is a beautiful car and drive and since remapping it to stage 2 and remove the DPF it's fun and fast as well (268/ 605nm)..
Which leads me to my question, I have attached a picture of the codes and a video of the area I think is the issue..
EML on, runs lumpy and stalls till optimal temp when putting the foot down various smoke sometimes white sometime black from exhaust and you can hear a hissing from the passenger side when the window is open..
Am I on the right path of cause that it's either the intercooler intake pipe to the throttle body and next pipe or one of the 3 perhaps even a seal, the caveat is that if its either then I'm going to replace them all when it's stripped.. The video isn't clear but there is a little smoke coming from the area when revved high..
Apologise for the quality it's on ramps in the drive and my 17 year old son is underneath it (2nd year of college training to be a mechanic)
Thanks in advance to you all
