Would you say the pedal is certainly the problem based on those readings with the engine turned off? What's the other likely causes? Tps? And pedal fir what they cost I can just repalce both. If there no chance if could be something else.

What would you suggest cleaning the connectors with? Thanks for all your help/ advice its greatly appreciated.
I would have no certainty that the pedal is the problem but it is suspect and without a full session on Star it would be just a guess. I would remove the pedal and clean the connectors with electrical contact cleaner and see if that changes anything and then you have a chance of knowing you are in the right area but if the pedal itself is faulty it will need changed.
Steve at Avantgard would be the expert to consult.

Like I said, there is a TIPs document for this issue. The fix is in that. Deviating from it will only cause you more pain. I know there is a need to avoid taking it to an expert either to save yourself some money or because you like to have a go yourself but in this instance I really would insist you take it to an Indy.

Do you have a link to the tips document?

Since the ecu reset I've not had the warning come back on but I accept something ain't right. I'll replace the accelerator and see what the readings are.
