Hi have this fault which appears on ODB but can’t clear it .
Has anyone got a rough Idea of the cost of a replacement, or can it be fixed without replacement. Last but not least if it requires a replacement is it as MB genuine part only

Thanks to anyone who can advise

Depends on the sensor.
Some cars have 2 which should both be changed and have a software update.
Expect £800+ for them.
Some petrol ones have one sensor - £300+

NOx sensors are a common problem it seems.

Yes pretty much spot on! Although some petrol models have two.

Oh, dear ...

Are we talking £800+ for 2 sensors alone ( my car is petrol) ? What are the symptom’s of this error?

Thanks

Really? Perhaps I should have said was apart from the obvious light and code . Is their anything else they is noticeable. Drop on power, increased fuel consumption?

Yes the car will be in limp mode with the code active, with significantly reduced power and it wont enter closed loop, so will use more fuel.

It will also fail an MOT
