Paint colours car underside

Morning all

So I'm in the process of refurbing the underside of my R230.

The boot area needs quite a bit of paint. While nobody will see it.. it would he nice to have it a nice similar colour as opposed to the unopened 2.5l of black and silver I am tempted to use.

Does anybody know how I would go about finding such a colour?

I have no idea where to start.

It's a medium gray and I would assume it was the stock paint used on all undersides of the era... 2004.

Any ideas welcome

Good idea Conor but I'd be tempted to use something like Hammerite...

Raptor 2k underbody, it's the best for this if you never want to do it again.

I don't disagree with this - I believe raptor is mutts nutts.

But.. part of me doesn't want a big dark painted panel with that rippled look.

I am veering towards getting some Rustbuster Epoxy Master 121 in their medium grey.

If it doesn't rust against, I couldn't car what it looks like.

On mine, whatever paint goes on the prepped metal, will end up being covered with brown Dynax UB anyway

Yea similar. I'm just being a bit of a queen about the SL lol..
