I've got a couple small dings on my bumper - paint is damaged - say half inch max but the bumper material isn't actually dented - not bad enough to warrant going into the body shop and paying top dollar - but even though I've touced it up with a paint kit, it makes the car look used. I know it's there, know what I mean?

And tonight, my wife's just scratched her rear bumper carrying a bike a mile down the road .I've heard of mobile paint techicians who come and make it all go away - on your drive.Does anyone have an exeperience of them ?

My dad used them a few times. They are very good and can make the problem go away.
The only downside I've seen is that after a couple of years, you can tell. I guess the new paint doesn't age as well as the original stuff and as it's just a small section on a panel, the difference starts to show.
That said, when it does happen, you have the choice of fixing that plus any other siisues you've clocked up in the mean time or else have them back, spend another £100 and be ok for another couple of years.

Ive used chips away for a small scuff on the front bumper, they were pretty good. Charged me 150 quid for a scuff that was abt 6 inches. I had scraped the amg bumper on a kerb. It looks ok and feels smooth after the fix. The guy from chips away was very patient took 3 hours and did a good job. He had come over to my office to fix it.
