Paintwork /rust spots

Have 7 year old 320 clk, last summer noticed some rust spots coming through at boot on cover plate /light area. Is this common problem and do mercedes recognize this with anti corrosion warranty.

Boots do rust, especially at that vintage, normally around the lock though as the seals were poor.
Drop into your dealer, in theory you are covered but you need the formal ok.
