I have successfully paired my old Samsung Galaxy S20 'phone with my SL, and an earlier SG Note 10 but cannot complete the process with my new S22 Ultra.

The 'phone is "seen" by the car once, but when I tried to pair it the pairing failed. Since then when scanning for Bluetooth devices it comes up with the message "No compatible telephone found" - help please!

Thank-you - but the SL saw & identified the 'phone once but then failed to complete the pairing.

It could be "finger trouble" on my part - but I have tried many time in the last few days.

Have you deleted the old phones? There is a limit as to how many it can pair with at a time

Yes - thanks Blobcat.

It appears the maximum is 10 devices - I have none paired, having deleted my old 'phones.

You may need a new/latest phone adaptor.

Many thanks. I hope not !

My 2020 Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G paired perfectly, and my new 'phone a very similar, but two years younger, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G won't pair.

There's little difference in the Bluetooth interface as far as I can tell.

I have been suffering from a really bad cold for the last few days, and all Easter activities cancelled as a result.

I took the SL out of the garage for a quick check-over & wash & brush up; but before I started decided to try pairing my new 'phone once again.

Once became 20 times, and 20 became 30 times. I was sitting in my drive in the sun, with the roof down, & had nothing better to do. I was determined to get the b**** car & 'phone to pair. I tried with the engine running, and not. I re-booted the 'phone, more than a few time but nothing.

Then after maybe 35 attempts my 'phone came up as recognised, it then took 10 or more attempts to pair, but eventually - SUCCESS !!

I am of course delighted, but can offer no explanation as to why I failed so many times but got there in the end.

All I can suggest is what Robert the Bruce, King of Scotland told his troops this shortly before the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314.

"If at first you don't succeed try, try and try again."
