Hi,

Could do with a couple of clues please: I have lost the back lighting to the fan and passenger temp controls on my 98 E240. Do I need to rip out the dash to change a bulb? or is there a fibre optic link and easy access some where (hopes!), either way can any one tell me how to go about changing the light source, without damaging anything. :?:

thanks

Take a good hold of the control knob with fingers and thumb. Pull hard outwards towards back of car. Bulb should be staring straight at you. Pull tiny bulb out with finger and thumb. Replace bulb, re-align control and push back in.
