park brake adjustment 107SL

Hi can any one tell me the recomended way to adjust the 1987 300SL park brake shoes as the manual I have got on cd (ebay item) wont work.
My car is the UK spec with hand brake lever in center I have fitted new discs and need to finish the job but all the details (for other models) I can find mention slackaning the cable B4 adjusting the shoes but on my SL i cannot see any way to alter the cables.

As far as I can see the only way to adjust the parking brake is with the cams in the hub,if you are fitting new shoes, you back the adjusters off so that the drums can be fitted, the tighten them up so that the wheels are locked, then back off till the wheel turn freely.

Hi Malcolm

Just been looking at the link again or should I say the first part of the link. Where did you come across this site as it looks very useful?. Haven't figured out how to get round language yet maybe I should go to ebay and get language translate or might be I just need to go down to the local Sandwich factory as the main criteria for getting job is not being British.
