Afternoon, i have been researching to adjust my parking brake because its non existant.
the foot pedal works, clicks down and holds and releases .
took the rear wheels off and with a torch looking through the wheel nut holes cant see the adjustment wheel anywhere
trying to avoid taking the hub off .
do i have a different set up?

You don't take the hub off , you pop the brake disc off , locate the star wheel and operate it , see which way is + and - . Mark it on your disc or write it down .

From memory I think yours is 2 o clock on passenger side , 10 o clock drivers side . It's on you tube any how if you search it on there .

Afterthought --- In order to get the disc off ,you have to wind the star wheel off , so you'll need to locate it anyhow. Try shining a torch through the holes in the dark . If you do find it adjust it +,rather than - . Or just go ahead move to - and remove the disc , you could always clean and lubricate things in there , especially the adjuster and hand brake shoe retainer springs .

Once you have found the gear adjusting wheel, insert the flat screwdriver. My way of working out the adjustment is, move screwdriver up for adjusting handbrake up, move screwdriver down for adjusting handbrake down. Works on O/S rear. :D
