Parking Sensors Fail

How many people have suffered with the parking sensors failing and just having a red ring around the car symbol. I've had the car 4 weeks its got 3k on it and this is happening all the time. It's booked on next week to see if they can sort it.

Hi, depending on age and hearing you can, with the aid of a short length of hosepipe (and no wind) actually hear the high frequency buzz of a working sensor!
If none are working it's either a module fault or your ears aren't up to scratch.
Otherwise you can spot a malfunctioning single unit

(An added bonus is that watching this investigation with you crawling round on your knees is likely to keep your 'other half' amused for a while!)

I'm hoping they pay it's a year old car I bought from MB a month ago and it's also on a service plan. It's immaculate without a mark on it. If I'm expected to pay they can have the car back

On a serious note though. How could I be expected to pay as it's a device failure on a car still under warranty. The parking sensors are covered by the warranty I'm sure.

It should be covered under warranty.
If it was damaged due to a stone or in a car park then it wouldn't necessarily be covered as it's not a manufacturers failure
