Hi,
I have just bought one of these kits, to finally get rid of my wired Sony Handsfree kit. I have been thinking where to site the LCD display in my C43 and can,t find anywhere to site it.
Any ideas or experience on where to fit it would be gratefully appreciated.

how big is the display? i had a cd changer in my 2 c-class cars that had a seperate display (it played through fm modulator) and i just made a small bracket and fixed it in the cassette storage slot just below the radio. it was visible enough without being TOO obvious to prying eyes!

Hi SAM,
You have seen them there in a 202 SAM as i don,t really see how i could fix it there and see it. I thought by the main light switch but it would go across two dash panels of slightly differing textures and the steering wheel is in the way of the display in the straight ahead position, any higher and it will have to be actually on top of the tweeter.

Hi,
Did think of this position but did,nt want to obstruct the oddments pocket which i have in place of your cassette storage. The unit is approx. 3" wide, this link shows one the same.

it also appears to be a little deeper than the display panel i had on my cd player. it was exactly the right height for the storage slot and blocked off a little over half the width.

im now trying to remember what the dash layout was like on my 202!
