This applies to the 3000 Evolution but I assume all models could have the same problem.

Over the past few months my 3000 Evolution has started taking ages to pair with my phone on switching on the ignition - up to 2 minutes.

In addition, I could not pair my replacement Blackberry Storm with with the device despite many, many attempts.

I am the sort of guy who regularly changes my phone and what happens is that the Parrot memory gets full.

The solution is to switch on ignition, press the Parrot green and red buttons together for 10 seconds and this clears the memory. Both problems solved!

Geezer ... I just came onto the forum to write pretty much the exact same note .... hows about that?

Just experienced the same problem earlier today ....

To add a detail, I was trying to use a HP Ipaq 614c smart phone / PDA / thingy! I use it heavily otherwise but the exception being Bluetooth quality ... particularly over my parrot CK3000 carkit. I simply does not cut it!

I tried a number of friend's phones during my analysis of whether the Bluetooth issues was a Parrot CK3000 problem or a HP Ipaq 614c problem. [It's a HP Ipaq 614c problem :(]

I've had to go back to old Sony Ericsson T68i mobile to use instead ... and encountered the delays Geezer was talking about also.

Fixed the same way.
