want to be sure the parts Ive seen listed on ebay are the same as the parts required, dont have the car at hand to check.

Is it a new part? Otherwise it will not work. If it is new you will also need a green key from MB with all the cars information on it.

Quote a number on the side of the ignition switch and a dealer can get you a green key for it.

Then......the switch will need to be coded so it knows what specification the car has......
