Hi,

i have a 1981 500SL and i need a new thermostat housing. now i have been to the stealers but they keep supplying the wrong one! can any body help?

Thank Myros, cannot understand why MB cannot do this. i told them they had given me the wrong part. they said it was right and had been superseeded a couple of times!! they have also tried to tell me the set up was never used by MB!!! then when i asked them why the part had a MB part number on it he just went quiet.

Jay, try the chap at MB Oxford

use their on-line parts order thing. It might be worth the small increase in price to have the right part first time. You can e-mail them and telephone them as well to talk about your parts needs. I find them absolutely first class.
