parts in Ireland

Hi all,

I suppose this is aimed at the people from ireland here, but where would people recommend to get parts both MB dealerships and elsewhere. I have been to one recently which has just moved premises. They were great in the old premises but decidely unfriendly in the new one!(change of guy behind the counter) So where do you recommend. What about this guy down in Tipperary that I've heard about?

I should be able to sort out any difficulites myself (past training as mechanic and brother who is one) so really its just parts and at the outside having to reset a fault code/srs light etc etc etc in the MB dealership

For new parts try the following - German Car Parts in Bray,
GSF in Dublin 01 460 6062 and Otto Parts in Dublin 01 8081333 (they are also in Glaway and Cork) All do Credit Card sales.

I've dealt with german swedish and french in parkwest in clondalkin too and they were alright but sometimes they mightn't have the bit in stock...

but any word from a decent main dealer? you know for the stuff that you will only be able to get from a main dealer

Where are you? I use my local dealer Tom Murphy when necc but they dont too stock much for a 190e thats "off the shelf". And they charge more.
