Parts for older models.  Is there a source?
I need a few miscellaneous parts for a 1971 280S.
Surely there are companies that sell parts...?
Thanks a lot.

As a member of the Mercedes-Benz Owners' Association you qualify for a discount when ordering parts through our parts finder service www.mercedes-benz-parts.co.uk

for a vehicle that early you will probably only get OE parts through the dealer network. Due to the age of the car very few companies will make new parts to  suit. You could try a few specialists for second hand, maybe H A Locke  01933 313077, or dereck wells 01449 774222

What are you after? I am breaking a couple of cars at the moment and may be able to help.

Nuts...
Thanks for responding.
I could use:
1.  Window Regulator [driver's door-control on center console]
2.  Antenna
3.  Receiver-Dryer [that has never had a break in the line]
4.  Door Lock Pull
5.  Clock
Can you help me here:
1.  Is lead substitute okay/good to add to fuel?
2.  How important is it to use high octane fuel?
Thanks a lot.
