I have just bought my first Mercedes a C180 2001 model. After owning it for one month the passenger electric window has stopped working, with the following symptons: althougth the window dose not move power is getting to the motor as it clicks when you operate the switch, the drivers side window makes the same noise when it is fully up or down, ie you try to close it further once it is closed already.
I have tried to 'help' it down by pushing it whilst someone operates the switch.
How easy is it to take off the door trim bearing in mind the airbag and what might I find upon doing so?
Failing that my local Merc garage want £85 to look at it, would you recommend taking it to an none franchised dealer.
