Had my 1992 230Ce for a few weeks - my first car. It has developed a nasty noise, creaking which gets much worse after 30-40 miles.
I popped into a local garage who jacked it up found some play and suggested fron wheel bearing gone. Does this soun right.
They also suggested might be a problem with the steering box, but they looked at it without the car started - is this possible.
Any help/comments very welcome.
The car is a joy to drive - very glad I bought it.
