Hi

I am back for more advice. This place is wonderful!

As the title suggests, the brake-light and indicator (passenger side) are not working. I pulled out the bulbs but they look all right. I think there is a blown fuse somewhere. I opened the fusebox under the bonnet but there are no fuses in it to control these two lights. I picked the rear seat but there is nothing there. There is a compartment but no fuses in there. Where else can I find a fusebox? The book mentions 'near the light switch' but can't see anything there. Please help as I have to access these fuses if I want to change them. They are not in the fusebox in the engine bay.

Car Details

E240 (W Reg , Year 2000) Estate (7 seater with two seats in the boot)

Thanks

I think it is telling me to prize open the plastic bit on the side of the steering wheel (the plastic bit facing outwards by the door), maybe not. I click on 50 and a box with words in Russian script pop up. Wish I had invested my time in learning Russian instead of other languages.

You have always been so helpful Tele, I need some more clarification.

Hi Razi ignore the Russian read the fuse boxes in the column and you will see several rows of fuses in the main box like 60,65 70

So I am looking for fuse no 50 in the main fusebox. The problem lies in the fact that the column numbers in the main fusebox only go up to 47. There must be other fuseboxes elsewhere. I lifted the rear seat. There is a covered cavity under r/h side rear seat but it has no fusese. The book says there should be fuses near the light switch as well. Can't find anything there either. It is an estate model. Very confused now!

There has to be another fusebox either under the bonnet or elsewhere.
