The fromt parking distance control unit refuses to light up at all. I am now wondering if the unit is not displaying as the speed pick-up is not working.
I understand the front display will automatically blank once the car goes over a set speed (3mph?) so if it is not receiving a speed input it may remain blank.
Can anyone tell me where the speed sensor is and how to check it please.
I have purchased a second front dispaly unit - which has also does not light - am i right in assuming the new display does not need to be registered with the car?
