You will likely be fine, especially if only 2 litres of petrol. Just top up again a few times to full and it will be fine.

In days gone by it was the done thing to put a gallon or so of petrol in the tank of a diesel to help prevent it from waxing/freezing during cold winters. Modern fuels don't need it. So half a gallon of petrol will be fine. ;)

As EmilysDad says, it used to be the done thing in winter in Europe. In the early 1980's I had a diesel Citroen CX Familiale, based in Northern Greece and driving home to UK via Yugoslavia, Austria, Germany etc - wax was a massive problem, German taxi driver (MB driver) told me to put litres of petrol in before the diesel when fuelling up! 2.5L of petrol followed by 50L of diesel I'd expect few if any problems, it's roughly what I did many times to my Citroen!
