the windows photo manager can re size them, of if you use a host like Photobucket you can upload the URL.

Another way is to use the Email facility where it will ask you if you want to make the pictures smaller

You are getting there,., by reduces the size, this does not mean the dimensions, it means the amount of pixels, less pixels means less detail but make a smaller. So if you have a picture on your computer that you want to post here directly, put your mouse on the picture and it should tell you the picture size.

When I put the mouse over the picture that I have uploaded,it says 640 x 480 but I do not need to touch that, it is the next figure that must be changed, size = 3.2MB, now this is the figure that must be reduced, so in my photoshop I have reduced this to 95.8KB. all photo editor programs have this feature. So now when I post this picture, it will appear as a small picture, and will go to near full size once clicked. So here we have 2 pictures,, the big one that is full size now was hosted from Photobucket and is the 3.2MB

Picture546-1.jpg

The little picture below is from my computer, where the size was reduced to 95.8KB and uploaded diectly, when you click on that it goes much larger

E300 Diesel...now with less dents!
Or just upload them to photobucket which has an auto resize feature to 1024x768 if memory serves.

Then just link to that in your post using the url tags
