I have a B class 1.7 petrol on 2006. I have noticed over the past couple of months that I have been going through a hell of a lot of petrol. Car was recalled back to Merc about a faulty fuel pipe just before this happened. From a full tank to empty (before running out) I have worked out that I should get around 340m to tank (based on 33mpg). I am getting an average of 220-230m per tank. is this correct? Been back to main dealer about this problem but they cant find anything unusual about this. Can anybody with this car confirm this?
