I TAKE IT THAT YOUR CAR IS PRE WIRED,:) IF YOU CHANGE YOUR PHONE QUITE OFTEN THEN YOU'R BETTER OFF GETTING THE "bluetooth cradle adaptor" B6 7 87 5877
AS LONG AS YOUR PHONES ARE THEN BLUETOOTH NO NEED TO CHANGE THE CRADLE EACH TIME

it's a costly game at £150-00p each time the phone is changed:(

Yes it's pre-wired, 2005 C220 cdi saloon, with the cradle inside the armrest which I had to spec with the phone I had when I bought the car. Had the same phone for 3 years and thought it time for an upgrade. Presumably the bluetooth cradle is more expensive than the standard cradle?

bluetooth is the best way. Most Nokia phones no longer fit any form of cradle anyway. I tried to find a Nokia cradle for a new nokia phone (flexible on the model) and failed. The new mercs (204 etc) are coming with inbuilt bluetooth these days. I'd say us cradle addicted luddites are being phased out.
