Hi Folks,
Just bought a second-hand phone with Siemens sp65 phone (off e-bay of course !).
Merc doesn't seem to recognise it. It's cradle number A 171 820 10 51.when I look for this on the web - they come up in German websites only !? Is this cradle supposed to work with UK/European pre-wire?
If so, then how come it don't work for me -I have no instructions with the cradle - is there something I'm supposed to do to tell the Merc that it's there?
The phone is clearly aware that it's in the cradle - powers up and goes into "car kit" profile (I assume previous owner set it to this).
Phone works fine, manually in cradle.
Twist - I'm the guy who's also got the CD Changer fibre-optics dangling free - are the Phone and CD Changer on the same MOST system ? Could this be screwing up the phone too?
