Hi all
I've got a '92 silver 190e with the plastic panels on the lower half of the front wing, doors and on the front edge of the rear wheel arch. On the passenger side of the car the plastic panels on the rear door and the one on the rear wheel arch are scraped and scored (not by me!).
I would like to get replacement panels from a car of similar age (and colour obviously) ie a scrapped one. I looked into getting new panels and having them sprayed but the paint shop chap said that it would be difficult to get them to match without them looking too 'new'. As you know the whole lower side is the same colour and I don't want to spray all the plastic parts on the whole side. Old panels will be slightly 'worn' and therefore will tend to blend in better. I know its a slim hope but....
