Plastic scruff/scratch

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas, I’ve got a scruff/slight scratch on the back of my passenger side seat, everyone is saying it’s rare plastic so hard to sort out, can anyone suggest anything?

Try a small amount of wd40 ?

If it is hard plastic a heat gun will sort it... but you need to be brave, experienced and practice on something else. Here is my Viano seat base trim which was badly scratched (think Met police and big boots)... the left side has been heat gun restored and the right side as it was.

Is there a massive colour difference when done?

No colour/shade difference but I was doing it on black. I had a bit more confidence trying it because my seat base trim as in the image above just clips on so I could buy a replacement if I messed up.

Making something shiny might” hide “scratches by making them less visible .
