Hi all
I hope you all well
OK so I have a 2012, C209, clk220 cdi sport
7-G tronic at 150bhp STOCK, which I have had for many years now and what I would like to do is make some upgrades.
I am going to remove the clk220 turbo (electronic black boxed turbo) (not vacuum) from my car and go bigger and better, so from what I have read and been told by Mercedes specialists, the parts are interchangeable and would basically bolt straight on.
So I would like to take the turbo from a 270 or 3ltr and have the turbo hybrid and then fit onto my car (along with some other mods before rolling road tuned)
Would anyone please tell me which car I can take the turbo (and manifold if needed) from to fit my car please?
Also will I also need to replace the manifold/ buy the manifold with the 270/3ltr turbo to bolt straight on to my car?
Some help and some guidance would be fantastic and very much appreciated
I know that when I change the turbo it will need to be rolling road tuned so that the electronics of the bigger turbo can be adjusted for it to spool up and function properly on my cas as I have already spoke to a number of Mercedes and tuning specialists and this is what they have said to me.
Other mods being done
change the injectors to amg injectors, and increase rail pressure
Airtech/wagner intercooler
Exhaust
K&N filters already done
Breaks and disks upgraded (always nice to be able to stop)
I've been told I will be well over 220 bhp which is good enough as I'm not going crazy
I hope to hear from you soon
Thanks
