Please help identify road speed signal wire

I'm retro fitting a cruise control to my yr 2000 auto 412 (motorcaravan). I have to pick up the road speed signal.

I believe it's pin 9 on connector 2 at rear of speedo, but would rather connect in more convenient accessible place. Does anyone know it's route and where it's connected at t'other end?
