    Hi All,

I really want to give my silver estate s211 E320cdi AG (53-reg) a new look.

I want to change the alloys but this seems to be mine field!?

Would CLS alloys of 2005 vintage fit my car?

I would prefer a larger(wider) rear alloy, so could I fit 8j at and 9j at the rear?????

So far all I can find out is I need:

    5x112
ET seems to vary from 18-45 ? What is this and would this impact the fit?

I really want some BBS LM style alloys with a deep dish. Slight deeper at the rear.

All the Ebay alloys seem to have an ET of 42 or 45?

    I'm sooooo confused?

I currently have Ankaa 17" on the car.

    Please help.
    IceBoy:rolleyes:

The chart says that for 18x8 I need an ET of 30.

All the ones I like on ebay, say ET42,45 etc.

With an ET of 42 the wheels would sit 12mm further inwards and they could foul the calipers, that chart is spot on

The best look (IMHO) are the 18" 10-spoke "Sport" wheels fitted by MB. I have a set (with good rears).

They might cost more than aftermarket wheels, but you won't have size problems, they won't devalue the car and you should not have insurance issues.

If you are interested contact me directly.

Hi, Mind if you give me a price on those and also a couple of picies. I'm after a second set of alloys and would quite like something larger than my 16" ones.

They are the 10-twinspoke MB wheels as fitted as standard on the W211 Sport models. Rears are wider than fronts. Tyre sizes are 245/40R18 front and 265/35R18 rear

Condition: Pretty normal for wheels that are 5 years old: There is evidence of curbing and paint-flaking on the fronts in particular. They have been kept clean and no embedded brake dust. Pictures: https://www.icloud.com/photostream/en-gb/#A2G6XBubJJzEGG

Tyres: The rear tyres were new at the beginning of the summer (Continental SportContact 3 MO, about £200 each) and have 5-6mm tread on them. The fronts are completely worn out and need replacing.

Price: I'm looking for £500 for the wheels plus bit extra for the rear tyres: £650 ono? Contact me directly.
