I'm totally negged out with my W124 E300, I'm completely fed up and need any help I can get. The car had been stood for two years and didnt fire. I found it didnt fire due to the distributor cap being broken, after that it fired straight away. But the damn thing wont run right, if you try to pull away at a junction, it cuts out, on a hill it cuts out, put your foot down hard... it cuts out, and the ABS light is constantly on. In order these are the things I have replaced:
Battery, Distributor cap, Rotar arm, High Tension leads, spark plugs, coil, oil, oil filter, air filter, all the fuses for new ones, the Overvoltage Relay, the brake discs, the shoes, the pads, the brake fluid, drained the fuel tank, fresh fuel, (Havent changed the filter as it looks like a job for NASA). Changed the idle control valve, the idle control vacuum hoses, cleaned the air slide and checked it for splitting, changed a load more vacuum hoses, and now, now I am beaten, totally finished with the damn thing.
Short of changing the engine, does anyone know anything that might help? Please
