Pollen Filter

I am due a B1 Service and the Pollen Filter is replaced.

Was looking at the MANN Frecious Filter. With the discount code they are £30.24 from ECP.

Is it worth the extra over say the standard MANN Filter or OEM MB one (Which is probably the MANN one in a different box)

I suppose that depends if you are allergic to common pollutants or suffer hay fever or asthma?

If not then cheapest will do.

As for bacteria? Depends how much bacteria your car is going to drive through I suppose? In my view that is advertising to people's fears - gimmicky.

Maybe if the zombie apocalypse kicks off?

It's alot more than that !

Diesel particulates and NOx .

So how come the gubberment isn't phazing out the ordinary folded kitchen towels ?

Because it's all about £££ and not health .

Don't forget brake pad dust .braking past schools is a big no no .

Ordered the Frecious from ECP, collect today and will fit later.

Got a quote for servicing, MB want £445 and my indy £300, this includes Oil which I have so deduct £100 off the indy quote for the 8 Liters and whatever they charge for the Pollen Filter
