Don't be tempted to get anything other than a charcoal filter, or you'll regret it (smells) :)

i just would like to make sure before i get new pollen filter exactly what i need.....i phoned my local carparts store asking for price on pollen filter and they said £45.....after checking through posts i also see mention of charcoal, is it important to get a charcoal pollen filter?

my problem is seriously misty windows.....cleaned the windows last night, car was checked for dampness, no problems. but on my drive to work this morning serious moist/condensation on windows (windscreen was kind of ok, but sides and back were awful). I've AC on, and recirculating button on as it seems to be the only thing that gets the heat up more inside the car.(i laso think i need a thermostat)

car is W203 C220 CDI 2001
