I noticed very recently that when I put my heated rear windscreen on the radio reception goes all haywire and does not seem to matter what radio channel I am tuned to. Not the end of the world as I can listen to my CDs of my iPod, but any reason for this? I believe radio aerial is built into the rear side window of my estate, so is it an earth or aerial amplifier connection? Radio works absolutely fine when heated rear windscreen is not on.

There is a contact pad that contacts the coax to the rear screeen antenna, on the 203 anyway.
It can come adrift.

Removing the inner screen trim should show it at the top of the screen.
I used UPVC spacer wedges to put it back in place.

Additionally there's usually an amplifier/filter fitted behind the C pillar trim, look for wires going from the window element behind the trim. This often fails not sure on cost of replacement, but wasn't usually expensive.
