poor starting,down on power,6/8 mls of the mpg

Hi Everyone.
E 220 CDI 2002 w210 mls 198,000
I am new to this site and was woundering if anyone may know what my problem is.
It started some months ago with leaking injectors so they where all resealed mpg was still good but down some on power,after the problem was sorted with the injectors i noticed that my mpg was down 6/8 to the gallon and power is down and now it is a bad starter.I have since had a new tempreture sender new heater plugs and a new battery and a replacment altornater ie second hand and i am still with a sick car,there are no faults coming up on the computer.
Other than take the car too mercedes with an open cheque book i am at the end of what to do..

Hi Michael, and welcome,try unpluging the MAF filter and see what happens,these do not always show up on fault codes.

try changing o ring seals on plastic fuel pipes to and from pump and filter get them any good trade parts store not stealership as 1.50 each this will cure yuor bad starting[drawing air]fuel running back hope this helps

Are you getting any black/blue smoke from the exhaust.

I have just had a new MAF meter fittered so i will let you all know how i get on with it.
