Possible dead battery

it appears that the cold may have killed my new e500 cabs battery , is it a straight swap over or is it more complex than that ?

I haven’t yet, when the car was picked up today the battery was dead and needed jumping to get it on the transporter it will be delivered to me in a little while and we shall see

Open bonnet , lock the car ,when it sleeps ,swap battery over.

Well the battery isn’t totally dead, let’s is if it holds a charge

Well charged the battery though the jump start points and everything seem fine now . It’s nice when something is easy to sort
