Just had my Viano tracked. The garage were rather incompetent and the steering wheel was out of alignment when running straight. Upon leaving the garage. The vehicle returned malfunctions on ECS and BAS. I wondered if these were due to the tracking. Anyway I returned to the garage after work to have the steering wheel aligned "straight". I notice the fault had not re-appeared. Subsequently having the wheel put straight - you guessed it the fault indicators re-appeared. After a second run they again disappeared. Hopefully not to raise their ugly heads again.
Has anyone else had similar experience ? - I presume that a "shock" change to the system causes the sensors to throw up the error, though I didn't expect the tracking (and I hasten to add, it was only a very small adjustment) to tip them over the edge with such a small difference. I assume speed sensors for each wheel are constantly monitoring the 'relative' velocities of all wheels and updating/correcting incase the ECS etc need to kick-in
