Potential wet ECU

Apologies if I have added this to the wrong section. New to the forum. I have a 2014 CLA45, not heavy issues until I got it washed and then the car would not start. AA told me it was a an issue with the fuel pump but now the garage is saying it’s a wet ECU. Has anyone had this issue?

I had a wet SAM after a downpour when I had it's top off. I had all sorts of weird effects for days.
I pulled all the fuses, got stuck in with the hair dryer and a good dousing with acf spray. Repeated at intervals for a few days and eventually all was well.

Where is the ECU on the CLA45 ?

Was it pressure washed under the bonnet ?

What garage is telling you that the ECU is wet ?
