- 230 clk, convertible, 2001, 2.3
Hi,
I've just bought my first mercedes, it's a 2001, 230 clk convertible, love it!!
I have just had it washed, while it was getting washed a warning message came on the screen "Check brake lines", can only presume some water has got on a sensor or something???
The message stayed on all the way home, but the car seemed to have less power?? It ran fine and engine ran perfectly, just seemed as if it had gone into a safe mode and reduced the power from ecu??
Is this possible or could there be a fault with my car, apart from then it pulls great and never misses a beat.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks for your help.
