power steering 500 sl

i have 1991 500sl with heavy steering, it starts normally but within 10 mins the power steering does not work. any ideas?
also front shock absorbers very bouncy, but i have hydralic susp. and am able to lower car ride hight. need both problems fixing

I had a similar problem with my stering and just topped up the fluid reservoir for the power stering. You need to use merc hydralic sterring fluid. The reservoir is located at the front of the engine on the right hand side with a blank finger screw top.
