power steering fluid?

I have a 97 C280 sport, on checking the power steering fluid level earlier I noticed its on the min level. Does this car require a certain type of fluid or will any power steering fluid do ?

Important you only use Mercedes Benz power steering fluid from main dealer, part number :000 989 88 03.
I don't usually subscribe to the only use MB fluids and oils but in this case ,yes, as the Haynes manual states so specifically.
