Having moved over from a W201 190 to a W124 300d the power steering on the 124 seems to be hardly noticeable.
I checked the fluid level and belt is tight
Is it possible it could be worn out and needing a replacement ? Or is this normal for a 124
It is working but not anything like as light as the 190 to turn
Ohh the tyre pressure is correct on the front with standard tyres too

Worn out pump I’d expect.
