Power Steering

I have a 1989 Mercedes 307D van with an om616 2.4 diesel engine.

Would it be possible to fit power steering to this vehicle, if so are the components compatible with any other model of Merc van?

According to the autodata cd this model was available with power steering, so its possible you can pick up the parts from a breaker..these guys will know as well...
