I thought it was only right and proper to post here how pleased I have been with the service from Andy Gayle in Birmingham. I had my C180T serviced from new by a Main Dealer in South Wales who became increasingly indifferent as the years rolled by. I stayed with them for that ever important MB service stamp, but changed my mind when I tentatively asked for some 'goodwill' contribution towards a rust repair and a defective Aircon compressor.
I was simply laughed out of the garage, and that day decided to look elsewhere - I am also pretty handy with the spanners, so I have also been more prepared of late to work on the family car as opposed to just my toys (Caterhams). Andy has been more than willing to just do the servicing and has always offered advice when I wanted to know what else needed to be changes by me.
The result is I get my car properly looked after, at a fraction of the cost, and know it is in better shape than ever.
Each journey to Andy has been in excess of 200 miles, but it has been worth it.
