Could anyone tell me if the mirrors for the facelifted MLs fit the pre facelift models ? Obviously they would require connecting to the indicators but I was wondering if anyone had tried this and did everything work (folding, adjustments, auto dim etc.). Thinking of doing this for two reasons
1) They look better
2) Glass smashed on my drivers door mirror and for the cost of a new glass (£262 + vat) I think I could get a pair of facelift mirrors from eBay complete with glass. Glass for the pre facelift models seems to be like hens teeth and I really don't like the stick on type as they distort images which is particularly bad when towing.

p.s. If anyone has a drivers side mirror which they no longer need I would be happy to take it off your hands (part no. 163 810 10 19). On the other hand I've got a mirror for the facelifted models which I bought in error if anyone is looking for one. I will put this in the 'Items For Sale' section once I get home and check the part no.
