Prefacelift W210 rear lights

How much work is needed to convert to facelift rear light cluster? Can a novice manage or I will need a pro for the conversion? Thx.

If they are the same shape its only a matter of screwing them in

Looks like same shape, but I want to know about the wiring. Anyone done that?

I just changed my SL ones and they were the same, though that is of no help to you.

It has been done on your car and I think that there was a slight difference on the plugs,,someone should come up soon with something
